What happens for former Presidents?

• Citizen-in-Chief: The Second Lives of the American Presidents, by Leonard Bernardo and Jennifer Weiss (published February 10, 2009)  Thematic treatment of all former presidents

• Beyond the White House: Waging Peace, Fighting Disease, Building Hope, by Jimmy Carter (published October 2, 2007)  Carter’s description of his work at the Carter Center since leaving the Presidency.
